Blade Runner 2049 Experience
Comicon 2017 - VT Pro Design
Teaming up with Giant Spoon for San Diego Comic-Con 2017 VT Pro was tasked with creating Alcon Entertainment's Blade Runner 2049 live in-person experience. The entire activation was a 12,800 square foot total immersion into the world of Blade Runner 2049.
The experience consisted of full scenic, lighting design, sound design, video displays, and interactive experiences, culminating in a complete fan experience where participants could be fully immersed into a street scene from the film. Due to the success of the event, it was adapted for Comicon London as well and brought overseas for a whole new audience.
Roles:
- Graphic design of signage elements
- Direction and animation of LED banners throughout the site
- Previs renders of the venue space and initial design ideation
- Content Design and direction for Blade Runner x Boiler Room London show
- Media / Team management
