Google CES 2018

Google Tiny Town

CES 2018 - VT Pro Design

For the Google Playground at CES 2018, VT Pro Design was tasked with creating a small scale city that showcased the power of Google Assistant across all kinds of daily interactions.

This city consisted of a multitude of 3D printed buildings and structures that were designed to incorporate displays, motors, lighting, LED, and even small fog machines to simulate all the different elements of a bustling metropolis.

Some elements used to bring the miniature city to life included a moving freeway system of small cars, a pizza box that opened to reveal an LED pizza, small displays that showed possible google queries, a magnetized small scale roomba, a train track with a wireless camera mounted in the front car, and many others. All of this was controlled by a timeline system that gave us the ability to trigger and show different queries and actions around the city as well as control multiple outputs of video to the various elements.

Roles:
- 3D asset creation, editing, and preparation for 3D printing
- Animation of queries for miniature LED screens
- Asset tracking and management of creative throughout the project
- Team management and client communication
