Signal Conference 2015 - VT Pro Design
The lovely people at Twilio hit up GMUNK and VT Pro Design to create something memorable for the 2015 Twilio Signal Conference in beautiful San Francisco. Together, we sought to build an interactive Installation that drew the conference attendees into the experience of the event by visually responding to their text message commands, analyzing sentiment and reacting accordingly with custom, generative content.
With this interaction, they wanted to activate the participants imagination of how technology can network people together and in doing so, present the many ways to communicate through the invisible network we are all connected to - the very framework of the service Twilio provides.
Roles:
- Animated sequences for LED sculpture
- Concepting and design renders
- Created pixel maps and built layouts for the sculpture
- Built complex animation templates for team members that mapped to LEDs on the structure
