AdobeMAX 2022 - LED Cube

Realtime 3D Animation - VTProDesign 2022

For the AdobeMAX 2022 conference in Los Angeles, some good friends over at VTProdesign reached out to various artists, myself included, to create a variaty of interactive content for their LED cube installation called Adobe + You. With themes ranging from underwater coral to sci-fi cityscape, each artists crafted a scene that featured the Adobe logo, and had two simple interactive pieces: a scroll ball and a button. Using forced perspective of the user standing at a podium on either side of the cube, the content was made to display across two faces of the large cube,

Selecting the Naturescape theme, I created a vast outdoor environment with the Adobe logo covered in grass and moving plant life, floating above a meadow. Using the scroll wheel, users could change the lighting of the scene from midday to sunset. Pressing the button released either butterflies or fireflies, depending on the current lighting and each with two variations.
